ALFA ROMEO GIULIA 1600 SPRINT SPECIALE – 1963-1965

The Giulietta Sprint Speciale was launched in 1958, designed by Franco Scaglione at Bertone.
Simultaneously, the Giulietta SS, the Giulietta Spider Veloce 750F (by Pinin Farina) and
the Giulia Sprint Veloce 750 E (by Bertone) were released to the market. All of them have
the 1290-ccm-engine with an increased performance of 100 HP, the same one of the
Giulietta SZ (Zagato), which was conceived for motorsports. The Sprint Speciale shares
its chassis with the Sprint Zagato.

In 1963 the Giulietta Sprint Speciale was modified to the Giulia Sprint Speciale with 112 HP,
a 1570-ccm-engine and a maximum speed of 200 km/h. It's one of the most perfect and
elegant GTs of the 1960s, which highlights the fascination of the great-designed Alfa Romeos.
